Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or resources. The more positive energy you put into the world, the more you will receive back.

10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat rumination

If you find yourself ruminating, a great way to stop it is to disrupt the pattern and strength of their own to do something different. Rumination is like hyper-focus on something negative. This is not productive, because it is not rational or solution-oriented, it’s just excessive worry. Try to change the physical environment – go for a walk or sit outside. You can also call a friend, take a book, or turn on some music.

When it comes to the business world, protocol is pretty much religion.
