“Now-ness” is the ideal state of attention. That is, is a state in which all beings have at this time is a time, without thinking the past or the future. It is total pay attention to what you do in your time. If you eat, for example, only eat. If you read, read only. If you eat and you are thinking about bills, or what is on television this evening, then you are not in a situation now-ness. If you read and you are not totally concentrating on the action and then read again, you do not attend. Whatever you do will happen, if you think about something else, then you are not attentive and not in a situation now-ness (more…)
